Description:

3 story administration building is an addition to the existing offices and manufacturing facilities. Total project is approximately 136,000 sq. ft., including the 19,000 sq. ft. Executive Center

Total Project Cost: $11 million.

The Executive Center houses the senior corporate officers' suites, meeting rooms, and corporate board room. In addition, it serves as a sales and marketing center consisting of product displays, conference rooms, and a mini-auditorium for sales presentations and corporate functions.

The Executive Center is a high profile area for Fischer & Porter and is planned to complement their sales efforts, using a high-tech approach to profile the company's services and manufactured goods. Their presentations are designed to represent the philosophy of the organization - highly computerized manufacturing systems that result is easy to use products. The conference room contains one infared controlled slide projector to simplify informed presentations to clients and a "Write Board" to facilitate the effortless transfer of information. The mini-auditorium has a mult-image slide show of company history, a single slide projector for specific presentations, and a video projector fed by either a video tape player or one of ten computers that display information. All of this is reinforced by a wireless remote control system that operates the entire room from lights to volume control. The audio system is subtly blended into the interior design.

The corporate boardroom is the showcase for members of the company, much as the Executive Center is the showcase for visitors. The Boardroom is equipped with an infrared controlled slide projector for quality presentations, and a high-quality video tape play and television to preview new company material.

TRANSTEK provided complete audio, video and A/V systems design, equipment supply, and installation management services for the following systems throughout the project:
